Sunday 27th June
My first visit to the area for over three weeks after arriving back from a three week vacation.
Adult Barnacle Goose of feral origin behind Cottages Flash with Greylags. 2 Lesser Whitethroat and Garden Warbler near the Rough Wood. An abundance of singing Reed Warbler on Holme Pit with several Juvenile birds noted.
Single Yellow Wagtail, 8 singing Yellowhammer and Peregrine over on a late afternoon visit to Gotham Moor.

Adult Tawny Owl found roosting in willows near nesting site in an undisclosed location.
